Perishable item donations for Thanksgiving Meal for the Homeless
Sunday, November 18 2018
We are accepting donations of perishable items for our Thanksgiving Meal for the Homeless. Every $25 spent is worth 1 service hour; cooked hams and turkeys are worth 5 service hours. Note: There is a maximum of 2 hams/turkeys per family.
All donations must be turned in to the volunteer coordinator on Sunday, 11/18, from 7:30-800 a.m. along with associated receipts. Please only include receipts that reflect your donation, not personal grocery purchases. Receipts should be in an envelope with the following information written on the outside:
Thanksgiving Meal for the Homeless c/o Chris McGuiness
Perishable items
# of receipts and total dollar amount
Name of parent
Name of student(s)
Please drive in through the 7th Street Gate and find the coordinator near the S Building. Hand off your perishable items and envelope with receipts, and make sure that your donation is recorded on the tracking sheet.
NOTE: You do not need to log your service hours in Track it Forward. Your submission will be verified once your donation is received. You will receive an email from Track It Forward verifying your hour(s).
