The “Little People’s Hospital” at Kidfest on OU’s campus at Walter Fieldhouse
Saturday, April 13 2019
Each year Athens County Children’s Services puts on an event in Walter Fieldhouse on OU’s campus that is free for the community to attend. It’s a way for community members to network with local agencies and one another. There’s many events for kids including our very own “Little People’s Hospital”. Each year the stations vary but there’s usually a station that involves handwashing, heart health, an x-ray box with actual films for them to see, a nutrition station, etc. Last year our 14 volunteers educated over 250 kids! WHITE COAT ATTIRE IS MANDATORY.Please arrive at Walter Fieldhouse at 9:30 am and park in the Walter Hall lot (location 134 on the OU parking services map). Please contact Casey Koth, the SGA Student Director of Community Outreach for more information.
