La Salle College Preparatory

Dear parents,

We are grateful for your invaluable support as we prepare for the Chinese proficiency test hosted by the Center for Linguistic Exploration on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at our school's La Salle campus. This event will welcome students from Los Angeles representing various proficiency levels. To ensure everything runs smoothly, we need six dedicated parent volunteers to serve as proctor assistants.

A designated check-in area will be set up for registered students, complete with tables and a list of participant names. Since registration is now closed, only those who signed up in advance will be able to participate. Registered students will be directed to their assigned testing rooms on the third floor, with clear signage and further guidance provided to ensure they arrive at the correct location for their test.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR VOLUNTEERS:

Arrival: Please arrive on time for your assigned slot; arriving 5–10 minutes early would be greatly appreciated.
Meeting Point: Tina Wang, Director of the Center for Linguistic Exploration, will meet you at the front desk.
Assignments: Each volunteer will be assigned to a specific classroom for a particular test level.
End of Test: Volunteers may leave once the test period has ended.
