Come Plant Trees with us at Woodlands Conservancy (449 F. Edward Hebert Blvd. Belle Chasse, LA 70037) on Wednesday 3/16/22 from 9am-1pm. We will hike up to ½ mile into the woods along a trail to get to the planting site. We will plant trees and seedlings along the trail and at the restoration site (~½ mile from the trail head). Woodlands Conservancy works to preserve and restore the remaining forested wetlands that protect our community during storm events and provide habitat for resident and migratory birds and other wildlife. We depend on volunteers to support our conservation and restoration efforts.
