Elementree Pruning
Friday, July 09 2021
Join PP&R Urban Forestry to prune, mulch, and provide care to the trees of Ventura Elementary School.
Practice your pruning skills and help care for the trees enjoyed by the students and employees of the school. Growing adjacent to the E Burnside MAX rail line isn't an easy life for a tree; heat from the roadway, compaction from all vehicles, and other conditions make this a tough spot to survive.
Bring yourself, weather protection, and a water bottle!
Friday, July 9, 9:00 am - 11:00 am, Ventura Park Elementary School (145 SE 117th Ave, Portland, OR 97216).
Meet at the northeast corner of the school grounds, along SE 117th Ave.
Before registering or attending any in-person event, please read the attached Safe Stewardship Protocols.
