Food Rescue US - City of Norwalk and The Farmlink Project
Monday, July 31 2023
Food Rescue US and The City of Norwalk have been presented by The Farmlink Project with the opportunity to rescue a truck full of cucumbers and peppers. That is 30 pallets (thousands of pounds) worth of vegetables!
Volunteers are needed on Monday, July 31 between 9am and 11am to help break down pallets, load vehicles and assist with the distribution. This will likely involve heavy lifting. Volunteer hours will be logged based on the time spent.
Donations will be distributed from the City of Norwalk Department of Public Works Operations Office, located at 15 South Smith St in Norwalk.
When signing up, please reach out to the organizer, Aidan Frisch and Kim Frisch at 917-748-7423, as additional details may be provided over the weekend from Food Rescue for this special opportunity.
Thank you!
