City of Chico, Parks Division, PALS Volunteers

Volunteers will meet at 9 am at 888 Manzanita Ct to join in with the Butte County Fire Safe Council in removing invasive Spanish broom from the Lindo Channel. Help in improve the resilience of native plants found in the area, while simultaneously reducing fire risk. Closed-toe shoes, pants and long sleeves are required. Tools and gloves are provided, but please bring them if possible. Rain cancels the event. Your RSVP acknowledges that you have read, understand and agree to the terms as described in the attached City of Chico release of liability. Participants under the age of 18 are required to have a guardian complete the attached volunteer application and submit before the event.
