Georgia Legal Services Program: Mock Trial Witness Project, 10/05 - 10/06
Friday, October 06 2023
Project Description:
Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) is in need of witnesses for an upcoming mock trial. This is a great opportunity to see what GLSP attorneys do in court on behalf of domestic violence victims, observe and develop your own courtroom skills, and perhaps dust off your unused acting skills.
The mock trial and preparation will take place on Thursday, October 5, and Friday, October 6. Volunteer witnesses can expect to spend about an hour on Zoom on Thursday afternoon for witness preparation. The mock trial on Friday will take place from 10 am to around 2 pm in person at the State Bar of Georgia (104 Marietta Street, Atlanta, GA 30303). Witnesses do not need to be available for the entirety of the trial but are welcome to observe as a learning experience if schedules allow. Lunch and parking validation will be available for volunteer witnesses.
