Refugee Family needs a Ride to the Grocery Store!
Thursday, August 25 2016
We have a family from Eritrea who arrived to the U.S. about 2 weeks ago. They were taken to the grocery once since their arrival but being a family of 8, they really need to go again. The family has not had bus training yet, and they have not had much time to meet people who would be able to take them, so they have been asking their case worker to take them. The Case workers have quite a bit on their plate this week so, they reached out to me to ask if anyone would have some time today or tomorrow to run the mother and father of this family to the grocery store.
If you have some time free today or tomorrow that you could run this family to the store, email Laura at Lboyd@wr.org or call at 573-479-8494 and she can fill you in on more details.
Thank you so much for how you serve and invest in our refugee families. You as volunteers are such a blessing to us!
