Ohio Cup Vintage Baseball Festival- August 31 & September 1 2019

The Ohio Cup Festival is an event celebrating the close of the Ohio Village season and plenty of vintage baseball on August 31 & September 1 2019.
Responsibilities: Roles & assigned days may be adjusted accordingly due to event needs.
Volunteers will assist with games on the green, tricycle rides, cotton candy, assist in the Emporium with retail sales (non cash register duties), assist with admissions, assist with crafts in the Ohio History Center and other general roles. These are 3rd person roles (not a character) and are a mix of costumed and non-costumed positions. Costumes will be provided by Ohio History Connection.
Skills Required:
Volunteers must have great people skills, be able to interact with all ages, and able to stand for several hours at our outdoor events.
Time Commitment: Roles may be adjusted accordingly due to event needs.
Saturday 8/31 – 10 am -5 pm
Sunday 9/1- 10 am – 5 pm
Work Environment:
You will be working in an outdoor historic village. You have to be comfortable working with large crowds.
Physical Demands:
Lots of walking and moving around. May assist with setup, lifting up to 25+. This is an outdoor event so you may need to work in inclement weather.
Training:
Brief training day of event.
Age Requirement:
14+
