Cancelled- Storybook Village
Saturday, June 06 2020
Join us to help promote early literacy and inspire children to read. Volunteer at the Ohio History Center’s Storybook Village event, where children’s favorite characters from popular kids’ books and television programs magically come to life!
This year Storybook Village is celebrating Classical Fairy Tales, such as those recorded by the Grimm Brothers and Hans Christian Andersen. While exploring Ohio Village, families will encounter familiar faces like Cinderella and Prince Charming, but also some new characters like the Witch from Hansel & Gretel and the mysterious Rumpelstiltskin.
This event provides early literacy and school-readiness resources, fun activities, library card sign-ups with the Columbus Metropolitan Library, and much more.
