Friends of the Black Run Preserve

We are looking for 6 volunteers to help at the REI Bike Fest 2016! Help staff the FBRP tent/table, distribute maps of the BRP, and help spread the word about this amazing place. REI has been so supportive of the FBRP, we’d like to help enhance the REI Bike Fest. Be sure to track your volunteer hours! We're planning some special events for our volunteers.

About the REI BIKE FEST:
Celebrate National Bike Month at the REI BIKE FEST 2016. REI in Marlton is hosting a cycling extravaganza on May 14th. Learn Bike and Road safety from Licensed Cycling Instructors. Bring the little ones out for Cynergy Cycling’s Kids Bike Rodeo where kids can learn to ride and improve their bike handling skills.

REI’s seasoned mechanics and outdoor instructors will be hosting several clinics on basic bike maintenance and flat repairs throughout the day. The Jersey Off Road Biking Association (JORBA) will be putting on a mountain biking skills demonstration in the afternoon. There will also be local cycling clubs as well as Race and Ride organizers there to help you get signed up for your next cycling adventure. This event is free and all ages are welcome and encouraged to come out and have some fun on two wheels. Don’t miss it!
