About
As part of the tuition agreement, each family is responsible for finding, recording, and tracking their service hours during the school year. The annual commitment hour requirement is 30 hours for a two-parent family and 15 hours for a single-parent OR PreK half-day family. Failure to fulfill the annual commitment hour requirement will result in an assessment charge of $20.00 per hour due May 31st each year.
It is the parent’s responsibility to find opportunities to serve the school or parish. Families are encouraged to document their hours on the monthly school calendar and submit the calendar at the end of the month for recording purposes. A periodic update of recorded hours is sent to all families throughout the school year.
How can I fulfill my service hour commitment? Get involved at the school and parish level. Any service supporting the good works of the school and parish are counted as volunteer hours. Ideas include but are not limited to room parents, working in the classroom, working on a REACH class project, take-home projects, Saint Patrick Catholic School REACH Auction, Annual Fund, Scrip program, recycle drive, gardening around the grounds, ministers for the masses, serving on the School Commission, driving and chaperoning on field trips, attending the monthly Saint Patrick Parent Association (SPPA) meeting and MORE!
Events or activities not sponsored by Saint Patrick Catholic Church & School must be approved in advance by the Principal.
