Clearance and structural pruning of street trees with the Urban Forestry crew. This is an opportunity to hone your pruning skills. Gloves, protective eye wear, sturdy shoes and ample water are a must. Sunscreen recommended. If you have tools (including loppers, hand pruners, hand saws) bring them; otherwise we will provide. Trainees who have attended the pruning classes and labs and Stewards are welcome. While we encourage you to try our long pole tools, there are plenty of other ways to help/learn and earn pruning hours. **If you don't have a safety vest, please note that in the message section of your RSVP with your size preference and we will supply one.
