**Position:** Concession Stand Volunteer

**Location:** NASCAR Event Venue

**Overview:**
As a Concession Stand Volunteer at NASCAR events, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to racing fans by assisting in the operation of concession stands. Your friendly demeanor and efficient service will contribute to creating a positive and enjoyable experience for attendees.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Food Preparation and Serving:**
- Assist in preparing food items according to established recipes and procedures.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained at all times.

2. **Cash Handling:**
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register.
- Make change and process credit card payments as needed.
- Maintain an organized cash drawer and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.

3. **Customer Service:**
- Greet customers with a smile and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Answer questions about menu items, prices, and other related inquiries.
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

4. **Maintaining Cleanliness:**
- Keep the concession stand area clean and organized throughout the event.
- Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas.
- Follow proper sanitation procedures to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.

5. **Restocking Inventory:**
- Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Replenish stock as needed to ensure continuous service.
- Alert supervisors when inventory levels are low or items need to be reordered.

6. **Teamwork:**
- Collaborate with other volunteers and staff members to ensure smooth operation of the concession stand.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and provide assistance as needed.

**Requirements:**

- Must be at least 18 years old (or the minimum age required by local regulations).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Willingness to adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, during NASCAR events.
