Tar-Pamlico River Cleanup

Join Sound Rivers volunteers on Saturday, April 21st to clean the Tar-Pamlico River! Last year Greenville won the RIVERKEEPER® Cup Cleanup Challenge, but in 2018 its anyone's game!
Will it be Washington, Rocky Mount, Greenville, or Tarboro? Come out to help clean and maybe YOUR city will win!
When: April 21st from 8am to noon
Where:
Washington - Havens Garden
Greenville - Port Terminal Boat Ramp
Tarboro - Shiloh Landing**
Rocky Mount - Battle Park Boat Ramp**
Please bring your canoe, kayak, or jon-boat along with a PFD. Some kayaks may be available in Washington and Greenville area, call in advance. Plan on a paddle of about 3 miles downstream. Bags will be provided and a limited amount of gloves will be available.
