Raritan Headwaters Association

Open Paddle is an opportunity for people to go out on the water in a kayak in a low key and easy manner. We bring our kayaks and set up along the pond in Clinton. People can sign up in advance or just show up, get in the kayak and try it out.
Volunteers check people in, help them get a flotation vest, help them into the kayak and get them going into the water. It's good if you are somewhat familiar with kayaking but not mandatory. Must be strong, energetic, friendly and able to follow direction. Volunteers must be 15 yrs or older.
