Chambers Book Tree Planting - Day 1 - CANCELLED

Join Raritan Headwaters Association and the Readington Township WaterWatch Committee as we restore the stream corridor along the Chambers Brook in Whitehouse Station. Trees help stabilize streambanks, prevent erosion, control flooding, provide habitat for wildlife, and provide shade which helps maintain cooler temperatures for fish and other aquatic life.
Dress for the weather and be sure to bring a reusable water bottle. Hand tools, gloves and light refreshments will be provided. All volunteers should complete a waiver form and bring it with them the day of the event or email it back to dnewcomb@raritanheadwaters.org in advance.
