Transplant Community Alliance & Transplant Team AZ

Transplant Community Alliance provides dinner and camaraderie to the residents at Help in Healing Home in the Village at Mayo Clinic every 4th Thursday of the month. Volunteers will set up the food at 5:00 pm, help serve dinner at 5:30 and clean up by 7:00. There will be a short (10 minute) training at 5:00 pm for volunteers. The volunteers need to be ready to share their personal transplant journey with patients and caregivers. Please do not give any medical advice, just listen.
The residents appreciate the social events that are planned in their community area. Most of the residents live over 40 miles from Mayo, so we won't see them often, however if we make a positive impression on them, we hope to be a positive influence in recovery and their journey to a new "normal."
