This training is an orientation session in the basics of solar, electricity, and construction. It's designed for people considering volunteering to help install solar systems with SunWork. Afterwards, you are eligible to volunteer for solar installations, working together with SunWork's small staff, attaching racking, running conduit, hanging inverters, and mounting the solar panels. Everything that makes a system tick.
This orientation session is indoors in a class room setting. This session is sponsored by San Mateo County's Sustainability Academy and it is limited to those who live, work, study or own a business in San Mateo County.
