Tree Stewards of Arlington and Alexandria

TS Scott Knudsen and his wife Jennifer Pease organize this native plant sale which is attended by multiple native plant vendors. Volunteers are needed for one of two 3.5-hour shifts, assisting with set up, staffing information tables, running a plant-sitting area, running errands, and helping to clean up. The sale itself runs from 9am to 2pm.
Location: Church of St. Clement at 1701 N. Quaker Ln, Alexandria, VA 22302.

The vendors begin setting up around 6am, so there will be plenty of activity in the church parking lot and the Tree Stewards will know where to go. They should park on Crestwood, Oakcrest, or Dogwood or elsewhere in the neighborhood. (It actually will help if they park farther away and walk back to the site.)

Once they are at the site, they should look for either me or my wife Jennifer. We will be wearing bright, reflective safety vests, so we should be easy to spot. I'll be wearing orange and Jennifer will be wearing yellow.

Everyone should wear a mask.
