Tree Stewards of Arlington and Alexandria

Help Needed! Please Save-the-Date for Tree Stewards to staff a tree table at Alexandria’s Earth Day celebration in Ben Brenman Park on Sunday April 24 from 11:30 am to 2 pm.

Tree Stewards will have a table set up at Ben Brenman Park to help provide information at a city tree give-away event. Tree Stewards will have an opportunity to educate residents about the trees they may be adopting (White Oak, Southern Red Oak, Black Gum) as well as how to plant and care for their new tree(s).

Tree Stewards will also have an opportunity to share tree care information with residents who already have trees and talk about our group’s work planting several hundred trees in Ben Brenman Park.
