Greetings, Tree Stewards,
In case you’d like to earn volunteer hours while removing trash from Four Mile Run on Saturday, May 21, sign up for any of the Upper Four Mile Run events from 9 a.m. to noon. In the Dominion Hills section, we’ll be cutting vines and other invasive plants that threaten trees along the stream as well as collecting trash that can endanger wildlife as well as trees. And there’s lots of Japanese knotweed in Isaac Crossman Park that needs to be removed to save existing and young trees.
