Tree Stewards of Arlington and Alexandria

Hello Tree Stewards,

Tree Stewards can still sign up to staff our exhibitor table at the Green Community Celebration on Sunday, June 5 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m at Shirlington Library. Feel free to sign up for the entire event or just for an hour! Any donated time will be much appreciated. Plus, meet fellow community organizers and learn what we can do to promote a green, sustainable lifestyle in our area.

The event will take place at Shirlington Library Plaza, 4200 Campbell Ave, Arlington, VA 22206. (In the event of rain, the event will be moved inside the library.) This event, for all ages, is designed to provide inspiration about living a green lifestyle, greening your home, and sustainable landscaping. The event is being organized by Department of Environmental Services, Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners, EcoAction Arlington, and Arlington County Libraries.

Tree Stewards will have a table set up at the event to help provide information about our organization and volunteer opportunities. Tree Stewards will also have an opportunity to educate residents about trees--their planting and care-- and their importance in creating a sustainable environment in our urban setting.

Set up time: 12:30 pm - 1 pm
Event time: 1 pm - 4 pm
Break down: 4 pm - 4:30 pm
