Tree Stewards of Arlington and Alexandria

So this is an opportunity to work on both tree i.d. as well to discuss the "right tree/right place" species characteristics that might make the species we will be looking at appropriate for a certain type of site but not others.

This is listed as "Park TBD" because I am hoping that one or more of you all will come forth with a suggestion of a park (hopefully one with good tree diversity) where you would like to have this walk. Candidate parks could be in Arlington or Alexandria; and if there is interest from several people in several parks then we can schedule additional walks to accommodate the interest.

We will meet at 9:00am to try and beat at least some of the August heat; obviously the meet up location will be determined once somebody suggests a good park for this walk!
