Help remove invasive plants in Grandma’s Creek, a neighborhood park that is an arm of Glencarlyn Park in South Arlington. Grandma’s Creek runs into Four Mile Run at 7th St S. We will meet at the usual location, along S Pershing Drive between 4th St S and 6th St S, near the Dominion Energy lot. Dress to protect against poison ivy and ticks. All the rain we’ve been having has resulted in luxurious growth of all plants, making it more difficult to get around. There are some steep areas, so sturdy shoes are recommended. We will have tools and gloves provided by Arlington County DPR, but please bring your favorites if you have them. If you have any questions, call or text me at 703 973-7424.
