Tree Stewards of Arlington and Alexandria

We planted some new trees last month so we need to water them and check on all the cages. We'll also be tackling the usual jobs of liberating trees from vines and clearing out some wineberry, multiflora, bush honeysuckle, etc.
Gather at the corner by the address 1000 Patrick Henry Dr., Arlington. Look for the "Volunteers" sign. There's plenty of street parking.
Wear long pants, long sleeves, and close-toed shoes. Bring gloves and hand tools, if you have them. Otherwise we will have tools you can borrow.
Full disclosure: There is some poison ivy on the site, but we have lots of Ivy-X wipes in case you accidentally encounter some.
Bring water for yourself. We will have light snacks.
