WALK, BIKE, & ROLL TO SCHOOL EVENT TEAM
Promotes, prepares for, and executes the fall and spring Walk, Bike, & Roll to School Days (There is an option to add in the Ruby Bridges walk to school day in November).

DESCRIPTION
The Walk, Bike, & Roll to School days will happen twice this year: October 2, 2024 and May 7, 2025.

VISION
The Walk, Bike, & Roll to school days are nation-wide events. They are a great way to foster relationships within the Ridgeline community, healthy exercise, and commuting safely to school.

COMMITTEE TASKS
The Walk & Bike Committee volunteers will do the following:
Meet 2-3x to plan and delegate action items on the event timeline. These include editing eNews blurbs, creating flyers, recruiting volunteers to help at the event, and also committing to help at the event.

JOBS
Walk lead(s)
2+ volunteers to lead walking commute from Kincaid Park to Ridgeline
Bike lead(s)
2+ volunteers to lead biking commute from Tugman Park to Ridgeline
Hospitality table lead
1-2+ volunteers to greet walkers and bikers as they arrive at school and hand out swag

ROLES
Seeking 1-2 people to serve as the Bike, Walk, & Roll event leads and an additional 2-3 volunteers to serve on the planning committee.
