Audubon Louisiana needs boots on the ground help with conserving habitat for beach-nesting birds! On Wednesday, April 17, volunteers will post about 1 mile of temporary fencing on Elmer's Island to protect crucial populations of Least Terns, Wilson's Plovers, and Common Nighthawks during the upcoming nesting season.
When: Wednesday, April 17th
Where: Grand Isle, LA
Time: 8am - 2pm
We will follow up via email with more details, including driving and parking instructions.
Drinks and sandwiches will be provided. Remember to bring sunscreen, comfortable field clothes, and sturdy footwear (No Flip Flops).
