Wright-Locke Farm

We are working to prepare some hilly terrain to create perennial flower gardens for next season. We would love volunteers willing to help dig up grasses, move rocks, till soil, and ready the land for seeds and bulbs.

What to expect (physical requirements and time commitment): Standing, squatting, kneeling, bending over, lifting and pivoting. A minimum of 2hrs.

We will work rain or shine so please dress accordingly, wearing closed toed shoes, sun protection or rain gear as needed. We recommend bringing a snack and water.

Meet at the Farm Stand Patio or inside the Flower Shed.

Our flower crew cultivates our flower fields and typical tasks might include; seeding, weeding, mulching, field maintenance, animals, barn cleanups, harvesting, and more!
