Hello St. Francis Families!

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered last month! There were many delicious and beautifully prepared dishes!

Please sign up to bring a dish for our second Faculty Lunch!
October's menu is Italian themed and includes special dishes like chicken cacciatore, meat lasagna, eggplant parmesan, and many more Italian food favorites.

The faculty and staff are so appreciative of your efforts, and they love the different offerings each month. The Faculty Lunch is a great way to earn those service hours while meeting and making new friends. The faculty lunch will be on Thursday, October 3rd. Each month, along with your help, we provide a deliciously amazing and themed lunch for our St. Francis faculty and staff in appreciation for all their hard work and dedication to our sons.

Help us make this a success by signing up to bring an item or two! If you have any questions about recipes, please contact Tonie by text at 323-528-2266. Finally please drop off your food donation or supplies to the front office or kitchen by 10:00 AM the morning of the luncheon and include any instructions. Also include the donation form (attached below) with your family name, son's grade, and the item you donated. Be sure to include your receipt(s). The love and time you put into your dishes is what makes the faculty lunches so special.

*New this year:
Main dishes now = 3 hours
Side dishes now = 2 hours
Salads now = 2 hours
Bread now= 2 hours
Desserts now= 2 hours
Drinks = 1 service hour per sign up. Bring chilled. Thank you!

• Store bought/Restaurant/Bakery items are welcome in addition to homemade dishes
• You can sign up for more than 1 dish
• You can receive up to 3 additional hours for grocery receipts submitted per homemade dish (1 service hour for each $20 spent, capped at $60 in receipts)
• DRIVE THROUGH DROP OFF – your son can drop off the dish to the front office when you drop him off, or if you want to come later in the morning after 9 AM, please call or text Kim at 626-790-1000 and someone will come out to the drive through to grab your dish so you don’t have to park and come in.

**PLEASE NOTE we have all the serving bowls and utensils necessary to serve your items. Please provide items in disposable containers that do not need to be returned.

When referring to an aluminum tray, we would appreciate this size when asking for a full tray and half tray as these sizes fit in our chaffing trays.
Full Tray for Chafing Dish (usually can find them listed as 21" x 13")

Half Tray for Chafing Dish (these are harder to find with the dimensions below but most sell 13" x 9")

Parents can sign up for 2 lunches per year (1 shift = 5 hours for a max of 2 lunches and 10 hours total). Parents should not select "back to back" months but space their signups at least every other month. Please bring a scarf or tie back for your hair to work in the kitchen.
