SLOBS volunteers needed to assist New Canaan Cares during the Holiday Stroll. Volunteers will be keeping the firepit going, roasting marshmallows and providing any other assistance to the children and families that purchase a S'mores kit.

We are looking for 2 Parent-Son Pairs.

Please note that both parent and SLOB need to sign up separately. We need 2 pairs, 4 volunteers in total for each of the following time slots.

Slot 1: 4:30 - 6 pm - Help set up the CARES tent and prepare to help families roast their marshmallows after purchasing a S'mores kit!

Slot 2: 6-7:30 pm - Assist Families in Roasting their Marshmallows by the Fire Pit.

Slot 3: 7:30 - 9 pm—Help close out the Holiday Stroll by assisting families in roasting their marshmallows and helping the CARES Team clean up and close up shop after selling 400 S'mores packets!

This year, we will allow adults (18+) to roast their marshmallows. The volunteers will supervise the fire pit and roast marshmallows for any patron who purchases a kit and is under 18 years of age. We are asking for Parent - Son pairs to keep a healthy number of adults and youth around the large fire pit! We want to make sure everyone stays safe and has fun!
