NCHS Service League of Boys

We may not be able play Bingo with the NC Inn residents this year due to Covid-19 safety measures, but we can still bring them some cheer!

Create a Fall-themed poster on behalf of the NCHS SLOBs to be displayed inside the New Canaan Inn.

- Heading should communicate that the NCHS Service League of Boys wishes everyone at the New Canaan Inn a happy Fall. It could be as simple as “Wishing You a Happy Fall! From the NCHS Service League of Boys.” It could be a rhyme (“Happy Fall Y’All! From the Service League of Boys”). It could be catchy (“The Service League of Boys wishes everyone at the New Canaan Inn a Tree-mendous Fall" above a drawing of a tree).
- Decorate the poster with a festive fall theme – think orange/yellow/red leaves, pumpkins, apples, scarecrows, etc. The design can be drawn, glued, painted…let your inner artist shine and use lots of color! The first name of each resident can be written on each leaf or pumpkin (names to be provided).
- Use foam board or a stiff backing so that the poster can be displayed on an easel.
- Take a picture of the poster for the SLOBs website and email to shannonbgoetz@gmail.com.
- Drop the poster at the New Canaan Inn receptionist’s desk no later than 10/11 (the earlier, the better).
- For Covid-19 safety purposes, this project can be completed with a parent or with a family-approved friend only.
