Christmas Tree Recycling, helping New Canaan keep its trees out of landfills.
New Canaan residents are encouraged to drop Christmas trees, free of lights and decorations, at the Waveny Pool parking lot. The trees collected will be mulched and the mulch spread on the New Canaan Nature Center trails. There is no charge for dropping a tree. Wreaths and garlands cannot be accepted. SLOBs volunteers should wear masks and keep socially distanced whenever possible.
