Join the fight against pancreatic cancer - we need you!

Calling all SLOBs…Come support The Lustgarten Foundation, which funds the world’s preeminent pancreatic cancer researchers, at a fundraising event on Friday, November 11, from 7:00 - 9:30 pm.

The event will be held at the Carriage Barn Arts Center at Waveny Park, and volunteers will help event organizers with a variety of tasks before, during and after the event.

Three shifts available:
4:30 - 6:30 pm: Tasks include setting up, including room / decorations; registration table, silent auction table, etc. (6 SLOB volunteers)

6:30 - 8:30 pm: Tasks include helping with room decoration; registration table; coat rack monitoring; gathering plates, cups, etc., from tables, etc. (6 SLOB volunteers)

8:00 - 10:00 pm: Tasks include post-event cleanup – garbage, tables, chairs, packing of remaining food/bar, etc. (4 SLOB volunteers)

Set-up: room set-up and pre-event tasks, including decorating the room, setting up the registration table and silent auction table and donations, etc.
