Filling in the Blanks Booth at The Oyster Festival in Norwalk

This year will be the 45th annual Oyster Festival being held at Veterans Park in Norwalk, CT from Friday, September 8th to Sunday, September 10th. We are looking for volunteers (parent/son) to help us run the Filling in the Blanks stand at the festival. Volunteers (parent/son)will be split into shifts of 2 hours. We are looking to have 4 volunteers (2 parent/2 son) per shift. Volunteers will be responsible for a variety of things:
*Engaging with guests/visitors and informing them about Filling in the Blanks and the weekend meal bag program.
*Distributing flyers/information about Filling in the Blanks
*Informing guests/visitors how they can get involved with Filling in the Blanks
*Running the craft table which will be Kindness notes that can be placed inside the weekend meal bags. (these will be completed guests/visitors at the stand).
*Help guests/visitors sign up for future packing events
*Morning volunteers will be responsible for helping set up & Night volunteers will be responsible for helping break down.
If the Oyster Festival allows (pending):
*Accept donations for FITB (including donations in exchange for FITB merchandise)
