Planet New Canaan at New Canaan Farmers Market

Planet New Canaan is a local community group bringing awareness to environmental issues facing New Canaan and the broader world.
We will have a spot at the Farmer's Market where people may drop whole undecorated pumpkins that will be donated to local farms as feed for the cows. People may also drop black plastic food containers w/ lids that will be used for Food Rescue. These efforts help keep both items from ending up in landfills.
