Silver Hill Hospital (SHH) is gratefully accepting donations of Fidget Type Toys, i.e.: mini pop-its, stress balls, fidget spinners, and silly putty. These items may be purchased at local drugstores, toy stores, or on-line at Amazon. SHH provide these items to all their Dialectical Behavior Training (DBT) programs for patients to put in their personal Crisis Boxes, which offer comfort when patients are struggling with their mental health. Crisis Boxes are composed of personal items that bring comfort to individuals, filled with fun, helpful, distracting, and comforting things that can help weather the storm of emotions. Please sign up to earn a 1/2hr credit and bring the fidgets to our next general meeting on Saturday, March 23rd.
