PUSD Arts, in association with Pasadena Playhouse, is back with a full-scale production of a major Broadway musical, "Hadestown: Teen Edition". Once again, students will be on stage in all the leading and supporting roles, in the chorus and orchestra, and behind the scenes as the stage crew, and designing and building the sets, props, and costumes. This unique production will feature the visual and performing arts contributions of over 100 PUSD students, and will be enjoyed by approximately 8500 student and community audience members during it's run.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO ACT AS USHERS FOR STUDENT MATINEES. These matinees which will take place on Wednesday & Thursday, February 26 & 27. The show runs approximately 3 hours, including an intermission. Volunteers will help seat students as they arrive from other PUSD schools, help monitor the auditorium during the show, and then assist as students depart to go back to their buses.

This is an incredibly fun way to assist PUSD staff and students... and you get to enjoy the show!

PARKING:
Please park on nearby streets adhering to all parking signs. Allow for time to find a spot. Parking at Victory Park may be an option, but we anticipate the PHS lot will be full as these matinees take place on regular school days.

RESTRICTIONS:
Volunteers must be 18 years old + and be a citizen in good community standing.
Volunteers are never to be alone with students at any time.
At all times, volunteers will be in the presence of a PUSD staffer.
Volunteers will help keep groups together as they are seated.
All volunteers will be vetted using Megan's Law.
PEF has the right to refuse sign ups for any reason, at any time.
