Be A Read Across America 2025 Reader - March 3 - 7
Be a volunteer reader in a PUSD elementary classroom for Read Across America (RAA) at a PUSD elementary school. Schools hold their own celebrations of this annual event and days vary per location.
You'll be assigned a RAA Coordinator for a school. Your RAA Coordinator will assign you a specific reading time (usually a 15-20 minute session) and classroom based on your availability and school needs.
Make sure you have a couple of favorite children's books on hand that you'd like to read to the students in grades K - 5!
**Please note your preferred day, time, and school (if you have one) in the Notes section when you sign up.**
**You must register fully as a PEF volunteer to participate, as you will be interacting with students.**
Once you have signed up, PEF will do a Megan's Law check on you. Your contact information will then be passed on to the RAA Coordinator for the school you have chosen. Your RAA Coordinator will send you details and any corresponding info you may need via the email address you have provided in your sign up.
