City of Chico, Parks Division, PALS Volunteers

Come help the Friends of Comanche Creek Greenway with the Meadow Project! The event is from 9am until noon.
Volunteers will be clearing concrete rubble and Johnson grass from the meadow area. Volunteers will meet at the Otterson Dr. entrance of Comanche Creek (Map Attached). Closed-toe shoes required, long pants recommended. Bring gloves if possible, water and snacks. Please have a face mask available to wear and practice social distancing. Your RSVP to this event acknowledges that you have read, understand and agree to the terms as described in the attached City of Chico release of liability. In the event the participant is under 18 years of age, please print & complete the attached volunteer application & return to Shane Romain, Park Services Coordinator shane.romain@chicoca.gov or 530-896-7831. Rain cancels the event.
