This event will focus on the maintenance of trails in Upper Bidwell Park. Activities can include vegetation management, erosion repair and installation of drainage features. The exact meeting location and time will be determined the week before the event. Notifications will be sent out at that time to all who have RSVP'd. Please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, sun glasses and bring snacks/ water. Tools will be provided. Most workdays are at remote locations and requires hiking multiple miles. Your RSVP to this event acknowledges that you have read, understand and agree to the terms as described in the attached City of Chico release of liability. In the event the participant is under 18 years of age, please print & complete the attached volunteer application & return to Shane Romain, Park Services Coordinator shane.romain@chicoca.gov or 530-896-7831.
