GreenThumb EarthMonth Tree Stewardship with Big Reuse at Smiling Hogshead Ranch

Join Hogshead volunteers and Big Reuse educators to learn about the importance to trees in our urban environment and provide care for trees in the garden and along adjacent streets. We will we move trash and reeds from the base of the trees, aerate the root zone and apply compost and mulch. This is part of NYC Parks’ GreenThumb EarthMonth and sponsored by local Council Member Julie Won through our partnership with Big Reuse.
