Pick Up
Where: Fruteria La Veracruzana (140 Venture Ct)
When: Arrive at Fruteria La Veracruzana between 12pm and 3pm

Instructions:
- Before gleaning, gather up about 5 boxes to transport the produce.
- Park near the second-to-last loading dock door at the back of Building 140 (look for the Horse Supplies sign). If the door is closed or nobody is there, you may need to walk around to the front and find a staff person inside the store.
- Tell the staff that you're with GleanKY and are picking up the vegetable donations. If you are not a Spanish-speaker, be sure to wear your green GleanKY t-shirt to more easily indicate who you are.
- Help the staff as they fill your boxes with produce, and remember to thank them for their contribution.
- Load the food into your vehicle, weighing each box as you go, and separating any clearly inedible food. Do not leave any food or trash behind. Either compost at your home or dispose of elsewhere.
- If there's more produce than you can fit in your vehicle, call our office at 859-444-4769.
