Lake Wales Heritage, Inc.

We plan to begin planting on 4th Street between Central Avenue and Bullard Avenue beginning at 9:00 am. Lemon Bottlebrush trees will be planted along the west side of the street, approximately two feet from the curb. Holes will be dug mechanically with minimal spade work involved. We will create a berm around each young tree to aid in retaining water.
Volunteers are welcome to join us in this exciting and historic effort. We suggest that those interested register in advance, wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and bring gardening gloves and a spade or shovel if you have one.
