Students will be available to assist with parking at the Dragon Boat Festival.

The Dragon Boat Festival aligns with the mission of osteopathic medicine by
fostering community engagement, supporting child and family well-being, and
promoting public health initiatives. The funds raised for the Children’s Coalition
for Northeast Louisiana contribute to programs that enhance the social and
physical well-being of children, reinforcing the osteopathic principle of holistic
care—addressing body, mind, and spirit. By participating in this event, students
and faculty demonstrate a commitment to service and advocacy, particularly in
underserved regions, which aligns with the goal of improving healthcare access.
