VCOM Louisiana

Join the VCOM-Louisiana Volunteer Committee in helping United Way of Northeast Louisiana with their LSU-AG Center for Healthy Communities Playground Stenciling event. This event will involve helping to paint a playground in the local community. United Way’s mission aligns with that of VCOM’s, where we aim to advocate for and work towards the betterment of the health, education, and financial stability of individuals in the community. By helping to paint the playground and helping United Way with promoting the upkeep of the playground, we can help to encourage children and adults to spend more time outside. Further, we may help with picking up litter around the playground during the painting event.

This volunteer event will be held at the A.G. Facen Memorial Park at 1103 N. 6th Street, West Monroe on May 31st, 2023 from 9:00AM - 12:00PM. We ask that VCOM volunteers dress comfortably, bring water and sunscreen.
