VCOM Louisiana

Join the VCOM-Louisiana Volunteer Committee and ULM College of Pharmacy – Pediatric Pharmacy Association and Rho Chi in gathering supplies for pediatric patients at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. Last Spring, the Volunteer Committee created the Art Cart, a utility cart filled with art supplies for pediatric patients at St. Francis. We hope to gather more donated art supplies so children being seen at the hospital have something to do while waiting for procedures or trying to recover! Acceptable donation items include: small packs of Play-Doh, small packs of crayons (up to 24 count), small craft kits (ie: foam or wood craft kits), "kid-friendly" coloring books (different themes such as Marvel, animals, Disney, etc. encouraged). We are also partnering with the ULM College of Pharmacy – Pediatric Pharmacy Association and Rho Chi to collect small stuffed animals as well. One stuffed animal or one art supply item will count as 1 TOUCH hour, with each student having the ability to gain 1 TOUCH hour in total from this event.
