VCOM Louisiana

The Simple Project is a street ministry in downtown Monroe that feeds the homeless lunch every Saturday at 12. Volunteers will be responsible for helping prepare and serve lunch, and occasionally help with preparing and giving out items such as clothes and hygiene bags.

Everyone please meet at 619 Wood St. Monroe, LA a few minutes before 10:30 am. There is no dress code, so please just wear a VCOM t-shirt with anything you like. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Faran Riyaz (friyaz@ulm.vcom.edu or 832-217-6165).

I know there aren’t a lot of spots available, but we will have this volunteer opportunity many more times, so everyone will get a chance to participate at some point! ☺
