ACLU Prison Project - create appendix for upcoming new report on access to counsel in ICE detention
Friday, April 01 2022
The ACLU Prison Project is looking for student volunteers who can help them build an appendix or directory of access to counsel at each detention facility nationwide. This appendix/directory will be part of an upcoming report on access to counsel in immigration detention. The ACLU has the data, but it needs help transforming the data into something advocates and families of detained people can use. The work will be done remotely and volunteers will be credited in the report.
The ACLU Prison Project would like to work with 2-4 volunteers who can provide about 5 hours a week until April 22. If interested, please contact Eunice Cho at echo@aclu.org or Aditi Shah at ashah@aclu.org.
